It works both ways.
How many unread email do you have in your inbox? (or, should I say inboxES)?
There’s a ton of information being hurled at us everyday. How do you know what is worth reading? Here’s another question, how do you ensure that your messages get read?
Maybe the answer to both of these questions is the same. Could it be that you open email from people who make you feel good, have connection and enrich your life? I think so. There’s also the element of knowing that the information will be ‘distilled’ and to the point.
So, here’s a strategy. Make it easy for people hear what you have to say but do it based upon genuine connection – and that’s the part that will take a bit of work on your part.
It’s worth it.
